The ancient Egyptians discovered that wild geese would consume a large amount of
food before migrating, storing energy in their liver to prepare for the long flight. The geese
caught during this time were also found to have the most delicious flavor. This method was
passed on to the Romans and eventually to France over 2,000 years ago. The Romans paired
the liver with figs and presented it to Julius Caesar, who regarded it as a delicacy. During the
reign of King Louis XVI in France, foie gras was presented to the court and served to King
Louis XV after which it gained great popularity.
Today, our foie gras is made with the same care and attention to detail as it was
centuries ago.Our commitment to quality ingredients and traditional techniques ensures
that each bite of our foie gras is a decadent and unforgettable experience.
Shandong Chunguan Food Co., Ltd. is market-oriented and relies on local resources. With guidance, assistance, and
support from various departments of the party and government on animal husbandry policies, national promotion of
non-antibiotic animal husbandry, and the continuous improvement of people's awareness of food quality and safety, the
company actively leads farmers to pursue industrialized management. In May 2018, the Linqu County Chunguan Landes goose
Ecological Breeding Professional Cooperative was established, with the Chunguan breeding base as the main body and 178
households from six professional breeding farms jointly formed. The "company + base + farmer" industrial standardization
development model was established. In 2018, more than 400,000 Landes geese were raised, and 10 standardized breeding
sheds, a first-class recycled wastewater treatment facility, a harmless manure treatment facility, a pre-cooling cold storage
and processing workshop, offices, staff canteens, dormitories, and laboratories were established with a total investment of
over 18 million yuan. The project is now operational, with over 100 employees, creating an economic benefit of over 36 million
yuan and a profit of 1.2 million yuan. It has helped more than 60 poor households escape poverty, and increased the annual
income of each cooperative member by more than 100,000 yuan.
